Integrated Regional Water Management Grant Programs

Integrated Regional Water Management (IRWM) is a collaborative effort to manage all aspects of water resources in a region. IRWM crosses jurisdictional, watershed, and political boundaries; involves multiple agencies, stakeholders, individuals, and groups; and attempts to address the issues and differing perspectives of all the entities involved through mutually beneficial solutions.

Our IRWM grant programs fund:

  • Planning
  • Implementation
  • Disadvantaged Community and Tribal Involvement

Current Solicitations

The Round 2 Solicitation will award the remaining funds in a second implementation funding round. DWR anticipates release the Final Proposition 1 - Round 2 IRWM Implementation Grant Proposal Solicitation Package (PSP) in late 2021.
