Each year, International Day of Women and Girls in Science is celebrated on Feb. 11. In celebration of this day and as an inclusive workplace that uplifts a variety of voices, DWR interviewed three women who work as either scientists or engineers to share their thoughts, experience, and advice for pursuing a STEM career.

The wet winter storms in January 2023 have brought a lot of water that has the potential to be stored underground to replenish groundwater basins and help mitigate prolonged drought effects.
As California experiences more extreme swings between wet and dry periods, it is critical for the State to deploy innovative forecasting and water management strategies to adapt to our changing climate.
