Notice of Solicitation for Multiple Membership Vacancies, closing October 31, 2026

Notice is hereby given that the California Department of Water Resources (DWR), as the Lead Agency of the Drought Resilience Interagency & Partners (DRIP) Collaborative, is soliciting to fill the following membership vacancies:

  • Agriculture
  • Community-Based Organization
  • The Environment
  • General Public
  • Tribal (separate solicitation)

The DRIP Collaborative is a standing task force established by DWR in 2023 in collaboration with the State Water Board and other state agencies, formed under SB 552 (codified under WC 10609.80(b)(1 and 2)) to “…facilitate proactive state planning and coordination, both for predrought planning and post drought emergency response, to develop strategies to enhance collaboration between various fields, and to consider all types of water users.” The following link contains more information about the task force (https://water.ca.gov/drip).

The DRIP Collaborative is comprised of eight state agencies and eighteen non-state agencies, which represent the following representative categories:

  • Agriculture (1 vacancy membership)
  • Community-based organization (1 vacancy membership)
  • The Environment (1 vacancy membership)
  • General Public (1 vacancy membership)
  • Tribal (1 current vacancy membership)
  • Experts in land use/water resiliency/infrastructure
  • Public water systems
  • Non-profit technical assistance provider
  • Local government

If you would like to be considered in becoming a member of the DRIP Collaborative, please refer to an informational flyer (tribal informational flyer) and fill out the interest form or tribal interest form by October 31, 2026.
