The Department of Water Resources, Division of Safety of Dams, will hold a hearing on the recently proposed enforcement regulations.

The Department of Water Resources’ Division of Safety of Dams has published a Notice of Determination for the Syphon Canyon Dam subsurface exploration to obtain information for the design of the new Syphon Canyon dam and its appurtenant structures.

This notice serves to inform all interested parties that a Draft Supplemental Environmental Impact Report (DSEIR) prepared by the California Department of Water Resources (DWR) for the B.F Sisk Dam Safety of Dams Modification Project is available for a 45-day public review from June 15 to July 29, 2021.

The Department of Water Resources’ Conflict of Interest Code (Code) has been approved by the Fair Political Practices Commission and was submitted for filing with the Secretary of State on May 25, 2021. The effective date of the Code is June 25, 2021.

The California Department of Water Resources announces the availability of the proposed funding awards for the Coastal Watershed Flood Risk Reduction Grant Program for a 15-day public comment period, which will close at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, June 15, 2021. Up to $25.65 million in funding is available through Proposition 1 (2014).
