DWR Opens 45-Day Public Comment Period for Sustainable Groundwater Management Grant Program Draft Proposition 68 Implementation Proposal Solicitation Package

The California Department of Water Resources (DWR) announced the opening of the 45-day public comment period for the Proposition 68 Sustainable Groundwater Management (SGM) Grant Program Draft Proposition 68 Implementation Proposal Solicitation Package (Implementation PSP).

The public comment period began on July 31, 2020 and will close at 5 p.m. on September 18, 2020. Following the review of public comments, DWR will release the final Implementation PSP and solicit proposals.

Comments can be submitted for the Draft Implementation PSP by one of the following methods:

1. Electronic Mail

Letters should be addressed to Kelley List, Programmatic Project Manager and sent to SGWP@water.ca.gov. Electronic files should be PDF or Microsoft Word compatible is preferred.

 

2. Hard Copy via U.S. Mail

Letters should be addressed to:

3. Public Meeting - Virtual Webinar

A public meeting will be held September 3, 2020 at 10:00 a.m.. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, DWR will host the meeting as a GoTo Meeting webinar. The meeting will be recorded and a link to the recording will be posted on the website and emailed to subscribers of the SGM Grant Program’s email list (see below for subscription option) as soon as possible following the webinar. Please register for the public meeting here.
