In California, subsidence has been documented for over a century and is a growing issue that impacts our water infrastructure and the communities who rely on it.

The Department of Water Resources’ (DWR) newly implemented invasive mussel inspection program for State Water Project (SWP) facilities in Oroville uncovered golden mussels attached to a pontoon boat late Wednesday afternoon in Butte County.
