Are you planning a road trip this summer? Consider taking a detour to one of the many beaches along the California State Water Project (SWP) – you’ll find them teeming with fish, natural beauty, and fun ways to spend your vacation.

SWP lakes and recreation areas offer abundant opportunities to cool off and go swimming, fishing, boating, windsurfing, or water skiing. Most of these refreshing recreation destinations are located just off the main highway, and if you plan ahead, you can even make camping reservations.

Always check rules, regulations, current conditions, and fees. Visit our website for information on SWP recreation.
