Consistent use of CNRA logos and boilerplates increases public understanding of what we do and who we are. It also strengthens recognition of our brand, and helps Californians better connect with the work happening across the state to protect communities and natural resources.

The California Natural Resources Agency works to help all Californians and nature thrive together. Display the CNRA logo on public-facing materials, signage, presentations, event materials, digital products, and outreach materials, as applicable, to acknowledge agency leadership, partnership, or support.

Logo Positioning/Color Contrast
Place the CNRA logo in a clear, readable location with strong contrast against the background.

If that isn't a viable option due to color constraints, background, or continuity in a larger group of logos, there is a white version available.
Sizing/Spacing
Minimum sizing should ensure readability across print and digital formats.
There is no maximum reproduction size.
When placing images, copy and/or multiple logos together, the exclusion zone should be no less than half of the size of the logo or 1-inch borders.

Never use the California Climate investment logo in the following ways:

Typeface Guidance
Use clean, accessible fonts that are widely available across platforms and software.
Recommended fonts:
- Primary/headline font: Verdana
- Secondary/body font: Tahoma
- Tertiary/fallback font: Arial
These fonts support readability, accessibility, and cross-platform compatibility across Microsoft, Google, and Apple products.
Media Releases and Written Communication
Include the CNRA boilerplate language and logo on public-facing communications, as appropriate.
