The Department of Water Resources’ Division of Safety of Dams has published a Notice of Determination for the Lake Wohlford Dam Replacement Project (834-3).
Consistent with the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), the Department of Water Resources (DWR) adopted the Final Initial Study/Mitigated Negative Declaration (IS/MND) for the Kopta Slough Multi-Benefit Project on February 28, 2023.
DWR’s Operations and Maintenance staff will be applying herbicides and algaecides to several facilities throughout the State Water Project (SWP) in 2023. Treatments will occur on an as-needed basis to control algae and aquatic weeds. The herbicides to be used may include copper, endothall, and/or diquat based compounds.

DWR's Water Desalination Grant Program has completed review of the grant applications submitted to the Continuous Application Process (CAP). This fifth group of applications recommended for funding is referred to as CAP5. Funding will be awarded to one construction project and two design pilot projects.
