Public webinar for comments on the Drainage Reuse Grant Program Draft Guidelines and Proposal Solicitation Package

The California Department of Water Resources has released the Draft 2020 Guidelines and Proposal Solicitation Package (PSP) for the Drainage Reuse Grant Program for public comment. This grant program provides funds to local public agencies, including public universities, in the state of California for research and/or programs that resolve agricultural subsurface drainage water issues. The program encourages development of methods of using subsurface drainage, reducing its toxic elements, and concentrating, separating and utilizing its salts.

The two public workshops mentioned in the PSP will be replaced with an online webinar via Skype scheduled for March 20, 2020 at 10 a.m. to solicit public comments on the draft PSP.

Written public comments will be accepted until March 23, 2020 by 5 p.m. and can be submitted to AgDrainageGrants@water.ca.gov.
