2019 Flood-MAR Public Forum

The 2019 Flood-MAR Public Forum will build on the 2017 Public Forum discussions and focus on topics related to Flood-MAR project implementation. This 2-day event is open to anyone interested in learning about Flood-MAR and expanding Flood-MAR project implementation throughout California. 

Key topics for presentations and discussions at the upcoming Public Forum include:

• Quantifying water available for recharge
• Identifying recharge locations and methods
• Developing consistent water accounting methods
• Formulating Flood-MAR projects with multiple benefits
• Incentivizing aquifer recharge
• Building a Flood-MAR network for collaboration and information exchange
