November 14, 2016
The California Department of Water Resources’ Flood Planning Office has released a revised draft of the Sacramento River Basin-wide Feasibility Study (BWFS). The Sacramento River BWFS primarily evaluates options for improving the bypass system by refining the scale and locations of systemwide improvements identified in the 2012 Central Valley Flood Protection Plan for the Sacramento River basin. This draft addresses stakeholder review comments submitted during the review period that ended in May 2016, and represents the version of the Sacramento River BWFS that is being used to support the Draft 2017 CVFPP Update anticipated for public release in December 2016. A comment log that includes DWR responses to stakeholder comments received during the public comment period is included below. Appendices are available upon request by contacting Sami Nall at Sami.Nall@water.ca.gov.
